Blasted out of the solid schist rock of the Central Otago mountains, the Gibbston Valley Wine Cave provides the perfect natural environment to mature their award-winning wines.

Experience the feeling of travelling underground 76 meters into the Central Otago hillside within New Zealand's largest and most innovative wine cave.

Guided tours through the Gibbston Valley vineyard and wine cave give you the unique opportunity to learn about the history of this special region, and to taste a selection of the finest New Zealand wines in the unique ambiance that the Wine Cave provides.

Private wine tour and wine tasting sessions are also available to suit individual requirements.

Bookings are not required for parties of less than 8 people.The tours cost $9.50 per person, or $7.50 if you are also lunching with us.The tours operate every day except on public holidays.
